Tomorrow October 15 at 12:30 Faculty of Science Politics and Sociology in the UNED CanalUNED presents an innovative visual platform in full convergence of digital content and educational uses of media to the Internet and other networks and devices, interactive multi media or multi screen. Offering 24 hours of educational programming and cultural content from CanalUNED can access, select and download the 400 annual hours of radio and television broadcasts UNED currently transmitted by different networks, especially RTVE (Radio 3, La 2 , International Channel and RTVE.es Portal).
It also includes access to the historical heritage of the UNED, over 10 thousand hours of radio and 2000 hours of video and television. Documentaries, features, video lessons, panel discussions, news, live coverage and delayed institutional events, academic and research are some of the formats and audiovisual content, online and on demand, may view, download and link through other interactive services such as audio-visual accessibility for the hearing impaired (subtitled) and visual (in the near future with the audio description.)

Information Literacy Month in the United States

President of the United States has declared October as the month of information literacy, given the importance that is gaining for social and economic development of their country using information technology and communication. In early October, called on the American people to recognize the important role that information plays in our daily lives and the need for greater understanding of their impact.
In his proclamation, the President expressed the need to learn the skills necessary to acquire, collate and evaluate information for any situation. This new kind of literacy competence is also required to communicate through technology, including computers and mobile devices that can help decision making in everyday life.
